2018 … it could be you!
It’s time to get growing and join in the fun with our annual sunflower growing competition! Last year was a great success with around 300 little people growing gorgeous sunflowers and bringing a bit of sunshine to the South Coast. This year we’ve got another bike to give away to the grower of the tallest flower and £250 in horticultural vouchers for their school!
We’ve already contacted nearly 70 primary schools in our local area and asked them to take part. But don’t worry if your school hasn’t decided to join in the fun, as long as you’re aged between 5-11 years all you need to do is pop into your local Glyn-Jones branch to register and you will be given your FREE sunflower seeds and growing instructions! Full terms and conditions are available for download here. The latest you can register by is Saturday 2nd June 2018, but remember the sooner you plant, the sooner they’ll start growing!
Last year William Lisher grew a sunflower a whopping 380cm … can you grow one bigger? Follow the fun here , send Suki and Lofty your photos and sunflower measurements to sukilofty@glyn-jones.com and they’ll add them to this wall. There’ll be regular updates, and you never know Suki & Lofty may even drop in for a surprise visit to say hello and encourage your flowers!
